Catching Up

Well, its been awhile since I last updated this! So long, in fact, that we are actually plus one family member since this was updated! So, I thought I would type up a little ditty about what's been up with us since I last posted!

On June 12, 2008, Gabriella Brooke Zimmerman entered the world and our hearts. She weighed 7 lbs, 1 ounce and 19 1.4 inches long. She is such a sweet little girl and we have no idea what we did without her here!!







Ava had a dance recital, just a few days after Ella's birth. She LOVES dance class and had such a fun time being a star on stage.





In the month of July, Phil turned 33. We had lots of fun wishing him a happy birthday!



Ava turned 3 August 23rd 2008. Its so hard to believe that she's such a little girl now and no longer a baby. We had an amazing time at her party!!





September was a lof of fun...summer ended and Ava started pre-school.




Ella spends her days with her Grandma Bonnie.

Ava's started her new season of dance....she's in the toddler "gym" there. She loves her dance lessons!!



We also liked to just hang out at home!







We went to the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival last weekend and had a good time there. We went to the Pumpkin patch and picked out the kids pumpkins for this year.







That should bring you up to speed so far! I am getting ready to post all about this past weekend!!!

T-Minus 24 Days....

So that's all I have left if I make it to my due date! Can't believe the time is almost here and soon I will get to meet this little munchkin in my belly. On the 27th I had an appt. with my OB and I was 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced, so its nice I have made some progress, but its really hard to tell whether it means anything or not. We are all doing pretty well though and just trying to get ready for the new addition to our family.

Phil has been busy with work, as always :) He is hosting the Passport Fair at the OV Mall today, and I am sure its going to be a huge success for him, so I am so proud of him for that! He's also had to deal with me the past few weeks and for that he also deserves a medal! ha ha

Ava has been her usual cute self. Probably the only thing really going on in her world (aside from getting ready for a baby sister!) is dealing with a biting problem at daycare. A bunch of kids from the 1 year old room just moved up into Ava's room and they are like jackals. Ava's been bit twice now in a week. One bite broke the skin on her back and looked TERRIBLE. So, I have complained about it to the Director and I hope we see an improvement soon!!

Gabriella Brooke

Isn’t Technology Amazing? Here are the 4D ultrasound images on Baby Gabriella Brooke Zimmerman as of May 9, 2008. She weighs 5 pounds, 3 ounces and is expected to be 7 ½ pounds or so at birth. Her heart rate was 150 (good!) and she’s got all of her fingers and toes, ha ha!! She’s got the same nose as mommy and Ava, but I think she looks more like her daddy. You be the judge:

Ella's Sprinkle

So my mom, being the sweetheart she is, suggested that we have a “sprinkle” (small shower) to celebrate Miss Ella’s up coming arrival. I thought it would be easiest to have it at my house, since we have the room. I honestly had no idea how generous everyone was going to be! I requested no gifts – but no one listened to me, ha ha! I am so appreciative of everything that you guys gave for Miss Ella. She is going to be so appreciative one day, but for now, you have to just settle for thanks from mommy!
